Study Session for Lifestyle-Related Disease Prevention
2020.11.28
Only one month remains in the year… how quickly time flies, doesn’t it?
On Saturday, November 28th, a total of 15 people participated in our third cooking class, following an invitation from the Minamioguni Town Diet and Lifestyle Improvement Promotion Council (Shokukai).
This time, as a measure against the coronavirus infection, we enjoyed delicious dango-jiru (dumpling soup) prepared by the members of Shokukai, along with bento boxes from the local “Kiyora Casa.”
We started by measuring blood pressure, calculating BMI, and measuring waist circumference, then studied how to prevent lifestyle-related diseases.
After listening to some hard truths about reducing salt, alcohol, and tobacco… it was finally time for the meal.
Everyone enjoyed seconds of the dango-jiru (dumpling soup), eating deliciously, and the session concluded with “Cảm ơn vì bữa ăn ngon” (Thank you for the delicious meal) in Vietnamese.
Thank you always for your valuable time and opportunity! 🙏
