We visited the site in Aso City / Kurokawa, which we had been working on until last October, for the first time in almost half a year.
The canola blossoms were in full bloom and brought a sense of peace to our hearts.
I imagine this scenery is almost unimaginable given the unprecedented major flood we experienced just two years ago.
This beautiful landscape is a gentle gift from nature, and yet, the devastating flood was also nature’s formidable power! Both are phenomena brought forth by Earth’s own nature. It was a moment when, deeply feeling nature’s grandeur, I felt a renewed sense of pride in being involved in the construction industry—which leaves its mark on the land—and resolved to approach my work with that very pride.
